Origin Stories Workshops: Assimilation with Nateene Diu | July 29, 2017 | 18th Street Arts Center

A workshop from an ongoing series of storytelling workshops and an evolving exhibition by Nicole Rademacher taking place in the summer of 2017, originally designed to empower adopted and fostered people – but now extended to artists who feel marginalized – to create and record their unique histories. This workshop will focus on the concept of assimilation as it relates to Nateene’s experience as an American Born Chinese (ABC) woman.
